Merrymen × Grok
Your Merryman.
Now in Grok.
Give your trading agent a place in the conversation. Set it up, understand its decisions, and check what it is doing. You keep the keys and approve the limits.
Add a custom connector once. No model API key needed.
Set up a practice Merryman for me.
A strategy you choose.
Limits you approve.
A status you can check.
Your conversation starts the setup.
Your approval makes it yours.
Three steps. Then just ask.
Connect your account once. Come back to the same chat whenever you need a check-in.
Add Merrymen to Grok.
A one-time manual step.
Open Plugins → Connectors → New Connector → Custom. Enter these details, then choose Add Connector.
Open Grok connectors (opens in a new tab)NameMerrymenServer URLhttps://mcp.merrymen.dev/mcpThis opens settings. Asking chat to find Merrymen does not install it.
Make it yours.
Your account. Your permissions.
Sign in to Merrymen with email or X, or create your account. Choose which Merryman and permissions to share with Grok.
Want to create one from chat? Allow Prepare agent setups and suggest setting changes on the consent page.
That permission prepares proposals. You still approve the setup and wallet limits yourself.
Start the conversation.
Try practice first.
Return to Grok and send this message. Follow its Merrymen link to review your setup and sign, then ask Grok to check the result.
First messageSet up a practice Merryman for me. Check my setup first and reuse anything already prepared. Send me one link to review the setup and sign in Merrymen, then check whether it is running.A connection or draft is only the start. The fresh status check tells you whether your Merryman is running.
Less dashboard.
More conversation.
Ask about the Merrymen you share with Grok. Get the next step, the reason, or the receipt.
Get ready
“What remains before my Merryman is running?”
Understand a decision
“Why hasn’t my agent traded?”
Check the receipts
“Show my recent trades. Keep practice and live separate.”
The conversation changes.
Your control doesn’t.
You choose the Merryman and permissions to share. Grok can read what you allow and prepare proposals. You review setup and wallet permissions in Merrymen.
The connector cannot sign wallet transactions or loosen your signed limits. Disconnect any time in Connected apps.
One connection.
A few good answers.
New to Merrymen? You can create your account during connection.
Why can’t Grok find Merrymen by name?
Add Merrymen manually as a custom connector first. Asking chat to find it searches a catalog and does not install this connection. Use the name and server address in step one.
Do I need an API key or a paid Grok plan?
No model API key or extra model service is needed. xAI says connectors are available to all Grok users. Business and Enterprise connectors must be provisioned by your administrator. See the official Grok connector guide.
Connected, but no Merryman or setup tool?
Finish authentication with the Merrymen account that owns your agent and select it on the consent page. To prepare a new agent from chat, reconnect and allow “Prepare agent setups and suggest setting changes.” You can also finish setup directly in Merrymen.
Does “approved” mean it is running?
Not yet. Open the latest Merrymen setup link and complete any remaining owner steps. Then ask Grok to check status again. Practice and live are separate, and a running agent may wait when its strategy or limits do not permit a trade.
What has been tested?
Grok web has been tested through fresh-account signup, connection, the interactive setup card, owner wallet signing and a fresh practice-worker report. If a host cannot display the card, use its text response and open the Merrymen review link yourself. Full Grok Bot setup remains unverified.

Working with Grok Bot?
Set up the Bot separately. Get the Merrymen setup prompt and configuration, then check which custom MCP options your Bot supports. A Merrymen catalog listing and personal Bot installation have not been verified.
Open sign-in and wallet approval links on your own device. Keep your wallet and sign-in codes off the Bot’s shared computer.
